More Than an Officiant
A Guide, A Storyteller, A Presence

If you’re looking for an Orlando wedding officiant who can confidently lead your ceremony, connect with your guests, and tell your story in a way that actually feels like you, you’re in the right place.

Because a great ceremony isn’t just about what’s written. It’s about how it’s delivered—and how it makes people feel.

Who is this Guy?

Hi! My name is Guy Swenson. Before becoming a wedding officiant, I spent years as a school principal—leading high-stakes events, speaking in front of large groups, and creating moments that mattered.

That experience shapes everything I do now.

I’m not just comfortable in front of a crowd—I know how to guide a room, hold attention, and create a ceremony that feels natural, engaging, and meaningful from beginning to end.

Why I Became a Wedding Officiant in Orlando

At some point, I realized something:

The ceremony is the one part of a wedding where everyone is fully present.

No distractions.
No background noise.
Just one moment where everything slows down.

And too often, that moment feels generic.

So I set out to create ceremonies that feel intentional, personal, and actually memorable.

What Makes My Approach Different

A great ceremony doesn’t come from improvising—or from reading a generic script.

It comes from combining structure and personalization.

I use a proven ceremony framework that ensures your ceremony flows naturally, keeps guests engaged, and hits the right emotional moments.

Then I build your story into it—so it reflects who you are, how you connect, and the experience you want to create.

That means your ceremony:

  • feels personal without feeling rambling

  • stays engaging without feeling forced

  • has the right balance of meaning, personality, and flow

The Way I Think About Ceremonies

I often think of a ceremony like a piece of music.

There’s a rhythm to it.
A build.
A balance between light moments and deeper ones.

It’s not just about what’s said—it’s about when it’s said, how it’s delivered, and how it all comes together.

That’s what turns a ceremony from something people sit through…
into something they actually remember.

A Bit About Me

Outside of weddings, I’m married to my husband, David, and we share life with our dogs, Baxter and Bandit.

I believe weddings should feel inclusive, welcoming, and true to who you are, no matter what that looks like.

And yes, occasionally a well-earned nap on a rainy afternoon is part of the balance.
