About Guy the Orlando Wedding Officiant
Who is this Guy?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my rewarding career working with students and families, it’s how to lead high-stakes events, manage stress, and deliver powerful, personal messages that resonate. I thrive on helping people navigate significant life changes, and few moments are bigger or happier than your wedding day.
Outside of my work, I always seek creative outlets in music and life (okay, maybe a good nap on a rainy afternoon happens on occasion!). More than anything, I want to make a positive impact on my community and my family—and I hope to bring that same dedication to you.
Why I Became a Wedding Officiant in Orlando
For many years as a high school principal and school administrator, I presided over countless ceremonies, from graduations to awards nights. I realized that my passion for powerful, personalized public speaking and creating joyous, memorable events was the perfect foundation for officiating weddings. It's a natural and joyful extension of what I already love to do.
I love helping couples celebrate their love story! As your dedicated Orlando Wedding Officiant, I channel that positivity, love, and joy into every phase of the creative process.
The result? No ceremony should ever be boring! It can be fun, joyful, completely focused on you, and absolutely not something your guests simply muddle through to get to the reception and that slice of cake.
Outside of Officiating
One of the great joys in my life is music—I play the tuba and sing. The creative challenge of continually improving and performing music translates directly to how I approach your wedding day.
Crafting a ceremony is like composing a beautiful piece: it needs pacing, rhythm, dynamics, and a perfect emotional crescendo. It’s a rewarding, creative outlet, and honestly, creating and performing a fantastic ceremony is just so much fun. I look forward to working with you!
My husband David and I live in Orlando with our two dogs Baxter and Bandit. We both believe everyone has a right and privilege to get married and pursue the life they were meant to live.
